with Mastercard

In 2018, Mastercard Germany participated at New Horizons Festival. Enabling all open-loop payments directly at the POS and the topup stations. The open-loop solution coexisted with the closed-loop payment and the NFC access control solution implemented at the festival by Get Systems.
CAMPAIGN
We enabled all POS at New Horizons with a PDQ, so all attendees could pay directly with their Mastercard at the POS. Direct payment with a Mastercard and Maestro was incentivized directly at the POS with a 1€ incentive discount on every transaction. Mastercard was also integrated as a payment method for those topping up their wristband. Self Service Stations were also offered for topping up.

Customized screen promotion at access gates hardware, banner-wall, and top-up stations for visibility. Immediate transfer of leftover funds to address refund issues, and incentives such as discounts per transaction and giveaways for Mastercard users.
